Travel guide Zandvoort and around, top 10
Travel guide 1. The beaches
Zandvoort beach occupies a strip of about 9 kilometres in length. When it comes to beach fun, there are lots of opportunities for recreation on Zandvoort beach: the most popular is sun bathing, but what about sailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, volleyball, hire a segway and there is even an FKK beach for naturists. Last but not least, the beautiful and good beach restaurants. In winter time also the place to be having a hot chocolate after a nice stroll.
Bloemendaal beach has everything you need for a great day at the beach. It is one of the most popular beach towns in Holland. Especially during the summer, when people travel to this beloved beach resort by car or public transport. A visit to Bloemendaal is one big highlight. The reason for this – the beach! Bloemendaal has some of the best beach pavilions in the Netherlands, which often organize big beach parties. Sometimes the beach pavilions work together to create one amazing party on the beach. Bloemendaal is the Dutch answer to Ibiza.

Travel guide 3. The small and charming center of Zandvoort
The town center is historical and has besides two main streets, nice small squares and alleys. Take a scroll and enjoy a nice ice cream, do some shopping, have some nice drinks on one of the terraces, go to a Dutch coffeeshop, the Casino and of course don’t forget your inner part, lots of restaurants to choice from. Travel guide 5. Haarlem, the ancient and beautiful capital of Noord-Holland, our guest’s favorite! To be reached within 23 bike minutes through the dunes or 10 train minutes.
With an abundance of historical sights, cultural attractions and hidden gems crammed into a relatively small city, Haarlem truly is a sightseers’ paradise. There’s plenty to keep the visitor entertained, but thanks to its compact size, it’s easy to get a good introduction to the city even if you only have one day to explore it.
